Dear patients,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well! I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust and confidence in permitting me to take care of your dental needs through the years. After 55 years, it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from dentistry. Please be assured that my staff and I will do everything we can to make the transition smooth and stress-free, and know that I will miss seeing you all!

My last day will be March 31st. As you know, this practice is staffed with some of the most knowledgeable and caring people I know. I can assure you that you will be in great care with Dr. April Tressler and the team. You will also continue to see the familiar faces of Joy, Jennifer, and Holly!

It has been a great pleasure meeting and caring for you all. I sincerely appreciate your friendship and loyalty. I wish you continued good health and all the best in the coming years.

All my best,
Dr. Shipley

Justin Paz, DDS

Lead Clinician

Dr. Paz grew up in Rochester, MN with a career in dentistry already on his mind.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Biochemistry and proceeded to stay in Minnesota for his dental training.  After completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the gopher state, he was commissioned into the United States Navy as a General Dentist.  After 5 years of active duty, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, and serving at a submarine base in Georgia, he returned to the midwest to be closer to family.

Dr. Paz is married with two young children.  When he is not developing healthy smiles, he enjoys biking and running with the family.  Despite living in Madison, he is a passionate Minnesota Gopher fan and enjoys attending football, basketball, and hockey events. He finds enjoyment from being at the lake in the summer, doing water sports, or just relaxing with a beer by the water.

Dr. Paz brings a positive attitude and friendly face to the office each day.  Dedicated to providing a comfortable patient experience, he listens to your (his patients') concerns and follows through by delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care.

"Combining clinical expertise with compassionate care, I look forward to providing you with a healthy, confident smile!"

Mikaella Sabinash, DDS

Lead Clinician

Dr. Sabinash was born and raised in Thiensville, WI. She attended Winona State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and a Biochemistry minor. She chose to attend WSU after being recruited to play on the women’s soccer team. (Don’t worry, she remained a dedicated Packers fan!) She played all four years of collegiate soccer and continues to play in adult leagues, which typically conclude with a beer and a few laughs!

In addition to soccer, Dr. Sabinash also appreciates art. She enjoys drawing, painting, jewelry-making, ceramics, and DIY projects. Her love for all things artsy and the required attention to detail led her to the profession of dentistry. Dr. Sabinash attended Marquette University School of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, she worked for her childhood dentist in Mequon, WI.

Despite her detour to WSU, Dr. Sabinash is a Cheese-head through and through. She loves getting to provide dental care in the Madison community and is passionate about aesthetics in dentistry. She is looking forward to offering additional cosmetic services, such as Botox, to her patients at Greenway Family Dental.

"Wisconsin is my home, and I feel privileged to care for its people by providing the best care dentistry has to offer!"

She and her husband have two children (Lily and Ian), a French Bulldog, and a mini-Aussie. Away from the office, she loves to travel, run long distances, watch movies, and learn new things.
